How Much Fat Can Liposuction Remove?
Larger volumes are possible only in carefully selected patients with hospital-level monitoring. More is not better: the goal is a smooth, natural contour with adequate fat preserved under the skin, not maximum extraction. Removing too much superficially is precisely what causes the dents and waviness that revision surgeons spend careers correcting.
How Many Centimetres Can I Lose?

What Can Change My Results Over Time?

What Does Fat Transfer Add to Results?
Fat removed during liposuction can be purified and transferred to the breasts (including hybrid augmentation), the face (cheeks, temples, under-eyes), the buttocks or hip dips in selected patients, and scars or depressions needing soft-tissue restoration. Long-term fat survival typically runs at approximately 50 to 70%, with surviving fat behaving as normal living tissue. Does fat come back after liposuction?
The removed fat cells never come back. With significant weight gain, remaining fat cells enlarge, including in treated areas, though often proportionally less than untreated ones.
Why do I look bigger in week one than before surgery?
Swelling. It peaks in the first week and can exceed the removed volume temporarily. The contour emerges from week 2 to 4 onwards.
When should I buy new clothes?
Fitted clothes feel right from 2 to 3 weeks, but wait until around 3 months for wardrobe investments, when 80% of the final result has settled.
Will liposuction give me a six-pack?
